The living environment consists of all the living things that an organism interacts with. The non-living environment consists of physical factors.
The 4 main key ecological terms are:A habitat is the place an organism lives. A group of these organisms of the same species in a particular habitat makes up a population. Several populations of different species of organisms living and interacting with one another in a particular habitat makes up a community. Finally, this community of organisms including its physical(abiotic)environment makes up an ecosystem.
Thus, they're all interlinked. Groups of organisms interact with one another and the non-living environment to form levels of organisation that get bigger and more complex.
